Yshay Shlesinger, M.D.
Dr. Shlesinger received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from the University of California, Riverside in 1989 and Masters of Science degree from the University of California, Riverside in 1990. He received his medical degree from Sackler School of Medicine, Tel-Aviv University in Israel in 1995. He completed his Internal Medicine internship and residency at North Shore University Hospital affiliated with New York University School of Medicine in 1998. He then completed his Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism Fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center affiliated with the University of California, Los Angeles School of Medicine.
Dr. Shlesinger is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism. He served as an Endocrinologist and Chairman of Internal Medicine at the Fairfield Medical Group in Vacaville, CA from 2000-2003 and then Joined NorthBay Medical Center and served as the Medical Director of the NorthBay Endocrinology Center in Vacaville and Fairfield, California from 2003 to 2007. In 2007 he moved to the east bay area and founded NorCal Endocrinology & Internal Medicine where he serves as the Medical Director.
Elliott Eisenbud, M.D
Dr. Eisenbud received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin, Madison and his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Bellevue Hospital in New York. He also trained at the Naval Aerospace Medical Center in Pensacola, Florida and served as a senior medical officer and flight surgeon at the Naval Air Station in Dallas, Texas.
Dr. Eisenbud served as a senior resident in Medicine at Stanford University Hospital and completed his Endocrinology and Metabolism fellowship at the University of California at Davis. Dr. Eisenbud is board certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism. He has participated as a principal investigator in multiple clinical trials and published in multiple medical Journals such as the New England Journal of Medicine and Journal of the American Medical Associations. Dr. Eisenbud has been a guest speaker in multiple forms and a consultant and on the lecture bureau of several companies.
Liezel Bersmania, NP
Liezel Bersamina, RN, MSN, FNP, is a family nurse practitioner. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from the University of Phoenix and a Master of Science in nursing/ family nurse practitioner from Names University.
Liezel has been a family nurse practitioner for 12 years and a registered nurse for 22 years where she continues to practice in both capacities. Liezel takes care of primary care patients in the Roseville office.
Nava
Nava earned her BA in English at the University of Haifa in Israel. She has been the administrator and practice manager of NorCal Endocrinology & Internal Medicine since 2007.
Nava is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the practice, public relations, contracting and billing services in both the San Ramon and Roseville locations. She is very approachable and available to help with any administrative matters of NorCal Endocrinology and Internal Medicine. Nava can be reached at (925) 552-5284.
