NorCal Endocrinology and Internal Medicine was founded by Yshay Shlesinger, M.D. in 2007 to provide evidence-based high-quality adult primary care and endocrinology services to patients with an emphasis on the patient. We don’t treat diseases, but rather patients with disease, so we take the time to listen and come up with an individualized treatment plan. We care!
Our Beginnings
Our practice was started in Danville, CA and as we expanded, we moved to the San Ramon location to a larger facility in order to accommodate the growing needs of the east bay community. Along with our move to San Ramon, we have added staff and state of the art equipment to allow us to help you and offer a variety of medical services. Our practice offers primary care services as well as endocrine consultations, insulin pump training, and initiation, and dietary services including a dietitian and a medically supervised weight loss program with close monitoring by a board certified endocrinologist.
In 2011, NorCal Endocrinology and Internal Medicine expanded to the Sacramento area in Fair Oaks, CA and later moved to Roseville, CA, where we serve the Sacramento and Roseville communities. Our team includes medical physicians, a physician assistant, a nurse practitioner, certified diabetes educators and dietitians, and insulin pump trainers.
Insurance
We accept most insurance plans including Medicare, Hill Physicians, John Muir Physician Network, Sutter, and most commercial PPO plans including Anthem Blue Cross, Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, United Healthcare, and more.
Endocrinology is the study of hormones so if you are “hormonal” we have the answers for you.
