Presently NorCal Endocrinology in San Ramon, CA is looking for participants for a clinical trial named LiraAdd2SGLT2i. This trial will study if it is beneficial in terms of blood sugar control, and safe, to add liraglutide (Victoza®) to your current oral anti-diabetes medication of SGLT2 inhibitor with or without metformin.
To be considered you must:
- Be 18 years or older.
- Have type 2 diabetes and be treated with a stable dose of an SGLT2 inhibitor (Invokana, Jardiance, Farxiga).
- Be willing to attend frequent site visits.
